The 1995 Mobil 1 Trial was conducted in two divisions – a full-on special stage rally known as the ‘Reliability Trial’ for serious privateers and factory-backed teams, and the lesser competitive ‘Challenge’ for those wanting to be part of the adventure without the same level of preparation or budget.

This tells the story of the Mobil 1 Reliability Trial –  an adventure comprising 59 special stages and covering some 18,300 km around Australia in 20 days in 1995.

Tom Snooks was the Event Secretary of the 1995 Mobil 1 Trial.
