The Mobil 1 Challenge Division was for those competitors wanting to be part of the round Australia adventure without the same level of vehicle preparation or budget.
It covered a similar course as the Mobil 1 Trial with the Trial competitors engaged in more special stages each day and travelling over generally rougher roads.
This tells the story of the Mobil 1 Challenge – 32 special stages, totalling 979 kilometres of the total distance of 16,667 kilometres in 12 divisions.
Tom Snooks was the Event Secretary of the 1995 Mobil 1 Trial.
